After a successful career in radio, Ron Gold founded Marketing Works in 2002. As President and CEO of the full-service marketing and public relations firm, Ron has represented many of the region’s major nonprofit organizations, including RiseWell Community Services, Long Island Cares, AHRC Suffolk, and Lifespire, as well as for-profit businesses in various industries, such as Maple Family Centers, Cosmetic Surgery of New York and Community Care Rx. Ron has helped clients develop their voice and communicate their message through hundreds of media contacts.

To further help nonprofits get their message out, Ron returned to his radio roots and founded The Nonprofit Voice on 103.9 FM LI News Radio, the region’s only radio show dedicated exclusively to the nonprofit community. Over the last decade, Ron has hosted CEOs from organizations throughout the region, and celebrated his 500th show in 2023. Ron has also developed a network of elected officials and hosted legislative breakfasts for nonprofit clients to make their issues known to government representatives.

Ron is a founding member of the True Partners Nonprofit Network, a networking and philanthropic organization made up of CEOs of companies that serve nonprofit health and human service organizations.
